Therapeutic Mentors (to serve Loudoun County)

 

I Will Coaching is a private life coaching and mentoring agency that has been providing professional, therapeutic mentoring services worldwide for the past five years. Our dedicated staff assists adults, adolescents, and youth struggling with life challenges, guiding them towards the establishment of goals and achievement of success.

Our approach is individualized and community-oriented. We provide one-on-one mentoring services both at home and in the community, utilizing hands-on experiences to help our clients become more motivated, intentional, and consistent.

We are in search of compassionate, dedicated individuals who are driven to empower youth and families. By using hands-on methods, our mentors educate, empower, and improve social skills, and help manage mental health symptoms.

 

Qualifications:

• A college degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or university. A master's degree is preferred.

• 1-3 years of experience working with youth and adolescents.

• Effective communication skills.

• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable source of transportation.

• Open availability and flexibility to work nights and weekends.

 

Responsibilities:

• Building rapport with clients.

• Preparing and maintaining confidential records.

• Ensuring treatment plans are created and updated.

• Providing resource referrals and overseeing these resources to ensure clients' needs are being met.

• Advising families or responsible parties on condition and treatment plan, as needed.

• Evaluating the effectiveness of mentoring and the client’s progress towards their goals.

• Maintaining therapeutic relationships and confidentiality.

• Attending biweekly trainings and supervisions as required.
